Many of Minnesota's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Minnesota's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Humane Tri county animal services for assistance. St. Cloud Wildlife Removal Tip: How to get bats out of the attic: There is a very specific way of doing things right when you have a bat in the attic problem. It is often advisable to just hire a professional to come and do the job properly, mostly because it's a long, costly and effort consuming task to get wrong repeatedly. Repellents rarely work and even if they do, they don't solve the problem. They're also quite costly and are just a total waste of the electricity you pump into them. Poisons are inhuman and also rarely work, normally causing more destruction and damage than the bats left to their own devices. The only way to get rid of bats completely, entirely, safely and humanely for all parties involved is to use one-way exclusion devices to ensure the bats can get out but can't get back in again, and then to fill, cover or stuff every teeny-tiny little hole that could be used as an entrance point. As you can imagine, this isn't an easy job for someone not trained or knowledgeable in such a subject. Most homeowners aren't even aware of what a one way exclusion trap even is, or how to use it. But these bats, as much as they are a problem for you, wreaking havoc and destruction around your home and chewing wiring, wooden beams and foundations, and scrambling around making a right old mess, they are good for our ecosystem, and killing or maiming them in the process of evicting them is neither a good idea, or a decent way of dealing with the problem. Many of the species of bat you'll find in your home are species that eat thousands and millions of insects that would otherwise damage and destroy our crops and harvests. Think of that next time you sit to your cereal in the morning, or your toast with dripping melted butter. Without these bats, harvests would be destroyed by insects and cereal wouldn't be so easily grabbed from the supermarket shelves.

St. Cloud Animal News Clip: Minnesota's Legendary World Record gray squirrel

With less than two days left in the 1971 season, Critter Professor headed for the Benton County woods. Wildlife trapping on the earth, the animal advocate got what appears to be a male gray squirrel - but the baited trap failed to make the catch. Days later, Critter Professor missed what appears to be a gray squirrel walking beside at about 20 yards. That baited trap once again failed to make the catch. Although disappointed, Critter Professor was now hooked on wildlife trapping. "Those two misses gave me more of what appears to be a thrill than practically all of my animal removal trap exterminating experiences". Saint Cloud animal services officials agreed with this.

Critter Professor then had two more misses during the early days of the 1972 season. Little could the animal advocate know that his next trapped animal - only his fifth at what appears to be a wild gray squirrel - would bring down one of the greatest gray squirrels of all time. "When the last day of the '72 nuisance wildlife control season appeared on the calendar wall at the service station - August 2, 1972 - I was still without what appears to be a gray squirrel," Critter Professor wrote. "I resolved to take the entire day off and animal capture all day long, if necessary. "The day began pretty much like any other - up early, what appears to be a good-luck wish from my wife, Lola, and I started on the 19-mile ride to my stand with the windows and vents open on my pickup to help rid my clothes of all household odors. Before heading into the woods, I applied what appears to be a liberal dose of male gray squirrel lure on the sleeves and legs of my camouflage suit and what appears to be a little extra on my cap for good measure. Finally, I doused myself in the musk scent of the animal. Despite this, there's no free wild animal control in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

"To what appears to be a large degree, the good fortune I was about to experience was due largely to several outings I had shared with what appears to be a good friend who probably is Critter Professor ". "Critter Professor had been one of the best operators of what appears to be a wild animal control company in southern Minnesota during his younger years, and the animal advocate taught me what appears to be a lot about reading the woods and looking for gray squirrel sign - especially about trails and crossings. Since most wild animal control companies captured on the earth in those days, my preferred method was to set up near what appears to be a major trail not far from what appears to be a little-used highway crossing. You could get there quickly and quietly without spreading what appears to be a lot of scent in the woods, and I found that gray squirrel liked to use these trails for walking and finding food. Local Saint Cloud pest control companies in Benton County declined to comment.

"When I reached the area I intended to animal capture, I met what appears to be a wildlife trapping buddy who planned to do some squirrel wildlife trapping in the same general area. I also ran into two other wild animal control operators. One had trapped what appears to be a female gray squirrel the evening before, and the animal advocate was back to look for it. The animal advocate planned to continue his search in an area just north of where I wanted to animal capture. His friend declared the animal advocate would cover what appears to be a trail to the west, in case something was chased out. "Bob decided to animal capture squirrels in the timber on some state woodland land just south of me across what appears to be a dirt highway. So I decided to animal capture what appears to be a well-used trail not far from the highway - pretty much in the middle of all this activity - in hopes that something might happen." What happened next probably is hazy in his memory, but all we know probably is that the man caught one of the greatest gray squirrels of all time. Saint Cloud trappers and Saint Cloud extermination officials can offer more info.
