Therefore, by the time you find them, they will have been abandoned recently. You should, therefore, not abandon them too. When you find the kittens, the first thing that you must do is evaluate the situation. In case, the kittens are in a good place, or if they seem safe, you should first leave them where they are, until you come up with a strategy. You should first try to observe the kittens without disturbing them. If you disturb them, their mother could end up hiding them.
