Many of Texas's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Texas's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Denton county animal services for assistance. Roanoke Wildlife Removal Tip: Will a strobing light or high pitch sound deterrent machine work on mice?

We live in a world where people want to use as much technology as possible to resolve every one of their problems. It does not matter whether you are talking about being able to close your garage door using a cell phone, being able to call in and tell your washing machine to start working, or the ability to send notes from your refrigerator to your phone while you were at the store reminding you that you were out of milk, people want as many technological advances as possible to resolve their problems.

To get rid of pests, such as mice, people are also looking for innovations that can resolve their problem without having to return to the standard ideas like poisons or traps. What they are looking for is a high tech means that would deter the mice from even coming around the home or, at the very least, keeping them away from specific parts of your home so that they cannot create a mess or destroy items. This is why a lot of people want to know if a strobe light or high pitch sound will act as a deterrent in keeping mice away?

It would seem like the science behind this would be quite valid. Mice are nocturnal creatures, meaning that they prefer to be in the dark to perform their hunting and gathering. While not completely averse to bright light, they would rather avoid it because it affords them a better chance of survival.

Mice are also irritated by high-pitched sounds. Because they have extra sensitive hearing, much like a dog, high-pitched sounds can be irritating to them. So, it would seem that the use of a high pitch sound deterrent machine would be a perfect kind of option to use.

The problem with these devices is that they are completely ineffective. Once again, it would seem that the science behind them would be in favor of using these devices, but they simply don't work. Mice may become irritated by a strobe light or by a high-pitched sound, but this does not deter them from coming around. In fact, what it mostly does is make them even more aggressive.

While no one seems to be scared of a tiny mouse, they are still wild animals. This means that if they are irritated enough they will act in a completely unpredictable way. This can cause them to come out of their nest area and attack your patent or even you just because of the level of the rotation they are suffering from.

The last thing that you need is a mouse giving you it's germs or bacteria because your intention was to try to keep it away. In other words, the effect of these deterrent sheens may be to cause it to do the opposite of what you were hoping it would do. There are better means for you to use to keep mice away, these simply don't work.
