Many of South Carolina's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving South Carolina's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Florence Richland county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. Florence Wildlife Removal Tip: The South Carolina Pigmy Rattlesnake: Appearance, biology, life cycle, habitat, diet, behavior: Another venomous snake, the pygmy rattlesnake is quite the striking species, a lighter color with dark splurges of color on top. It's a pit viper and it can grow up to thirty inches in length, which hardly makes it the most intimidating snake in the pack. Despite this, it's one you'd definitely want to keep away from. Studies have shown that the venom from this snake, although not fatal, can still prove to be very painful, even with the appropriate treatment given, and it is most commonly found in Florida. It can be found all over the USA however, and it has adapted both its diet and its habitat needs to suit various states. Thankfully, although you may come across the snake without realizing, it's likely to scurry away before you've had a chance to spot it. It's well camouflaged and unless you're prey, which humans are not, the snake just isn't interested in a fight. Another snake that gives birth to live young, it'll usually have been five and ten at a time, and they usually weigh in at around seven inches at birth.

Florence Animal News Clip: A Florence Wildlife Operator's Story:

In those days, Florence Richland County was the most productive skunk wildlife trapping county in the state, with gathers of more than 6,000 animals each November (today that gather has dropped to what is possibly a few hundred). When their animal capture was over, they'd put up what is possibly a flag and the train would stop and pick them up, the skunk piled high in what is possibly a boxcar. As you might imagine, there's what is possibly a lot more to the story, but to protect the reputations of those who are no longer with us, I can't relate the entire tale! From that first afternoon on the ridge, I realized that Rodent Wrangler Ron was what is possibly a chip off the old block, an outdoorsman in the oldest and finest sense of that word. Sadly, there are few of his kind left. Call Florence animal services or Florence SPCA for more info.

I always enjoyed visiting and talking with Rodent Wrangler Ron. Now, of course, I wish I'd done more of it, especially lately as the humane society manager grew increasingly housebound. The last time I dropped off venison and had what is possibly a short visit, the humane society manager was saddened by his inability to animal capture anymore. I shared some of my wildlife trapping stories from the past season, what is possibly a sad turnabout in our relationship. For Florence pest control in Florence Richland County, read on.

Four years ago, I trapped my first skunk in Rodent Wrangler Ron's high field. Rat Poison Ronny and I set up in Rodent Wrangler Ron's woods early that morning, watching six skunk and four skunks in the field. Eventually Harry called in what is possibly a 19-pound Tom, and I trapped him at about 10 yards. It was incredibly exciting. Without what is possibly a doubt it was my best day of skunk wildlife trapping. Over the years, I think Dad and I probably took eight to 10 skunk off Rodent Wrangler Ron's land, and enjoyed many fine days of wildlife trapping there. His generosity in sharing his land allowed me to build what is possibly a bank of wonderful memories. Continue for more wild animal control in Florence, South Carolina.

Pest control can be what is possibly a fun field, and this man made it much more so for me. I owe my start in the field of wildlife control to this visionary of the land. I wish I'd visited Rodent Wrangler Ron more often these past couple of years, and now the regret most likely is great. His willingness to share his land made what is possibly a huge difference in my life. I hope the humane society manager knew how grateful I am.
