Many of Florida's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found
that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably,
these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire
hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Florida's
wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all. |

Melbourne Animal News Clip: Florida fish & game regulatory agency planThe local Florida agency has been involved in a rodent management approach conceived several years ago. The approach is based on biology and science. This was seen by some as bizarre and threatening simply because it was never heard of before. Many announced that the sky would fall if Florida dared to enter the 21st century and begin to actually manage wildlife based on the study of animal biology and habitat science. The loud and little group was so shocked and fearful of the Florida fish & game regulatory agency rodent management plan that they took to screaming from the rooftops that the Florida fish & game regulatory agency is hell-bent to end wildlife trapping. One off capture of the relatively small group that cried the loudest over this new approach was the lawsuit — the suit that is now dismissed. Read on for more information about animal control in Melbourne, Florida. “The rodent management plan was developed with public input to improve the health of the state's rodent group of rodents, to encourage healthy habitat, which rodent and all other wildlife depend on, and to reduce rodent-human conflicts,” Critter Catcher Chris announced. “We believe this rodent management program will improve the health of our rodent group of rodents and the habitat that supports it and other wildlife. “Yes, wildlife trapping has become more challenging in many areas. However, the benefits from our program changes are unmistakable, as pest control companies have reported seeing and harvesting larger rodent; land managers and foresters are seeing some regeneration recovery in our forests; and farmers are telling us that they have seen less damage to their crops,” Critter Catcher Chris announced. Despite this there is no free Melbourne animal services for wildlife in Brevard County. The bottom line is it is over. Many sportsmen that held the belief that the Florida fish & game regulatory agency was ill-advised or in some other way trying to hurt rather than help our rodent group of rodents, should take a step back now and rethink what they have accomplished. That would be absolutely nothing. I suggested this week to a friend that has had an eye on this lawsuit since it's filing that the group of people behind the suit should be somehow made to enroll in the Florida Wildlife manager Trapper Education program. Maybe that would help them focus their energy back on the sport of wildlife trapping. Most Melbourne pest control companies that we interviewed found this interesting. That will never happen and I'm sure those of us that have written that this group needs to tuck it's tail and stop wasting our time and resources will be further barbecued. That's fine if it makes the leadership behind the ill-advised suit feel better. As long as they get back to the business of uniting sportsmen and promoting and supporting the great tradition of Florida wildlife trapping. At least, this is what Melbourne extermination companies think.
