Many of California's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving California's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local San Bernardino county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. San Bernardino Wildlife Removal Tip: Is Bat Feces Dangerous To Touch Or Breathe?

When it comes to doing work that brings you into contact with bat feces, it is very important that you take the right precautions to ensure that you are not exposed to direct contact with the feces. There are also often particles within the feces which are carried by bats and do no harm to them that can then be harmful to other species. This means that it is indeed very important not to touch or breathe bat feces wherever possible, otherwise there is a possibility that you may catch one of a variety of diseases that can be transmitted in this way.

Diseases Transmitted By Bat Feces

The most common condition that most people need to be aware of that can be transmitted by bat feces is histoplasmosis, and this is one disease that can be very harmful to people, particularly those with a compromised immune system. The symptoms in most people are fairly benign, usually causing a fever, cough and a cold, but in some cases it can lead to chronic lung disease and even death if it is left untreated. Another condition that can be caught from coming into contact with bat droppings or urine is salmonella, and this will often cause symptoms including diarrhea, vomiting and an upset stomach, but can also be more serious in old people and young children.

Cleaning Bat Feces

When you are cleaning bat feces, it is important to be aware that simply disturbing the feces can send many of the particles that cause histoplasmosis into the air, and it is this that can cause the disease to be transmitted. It is important to be careful when carrying out the cleaning work, and when you do gather the feces place it into a garbage bag and then double bag it for disposal, or place it into a box or container that can be sealed so there is no threat to anyone else.

Precautions To Take To Avoid Contact With Bat Feces

A breathing mask is one of the most important pieces of equipment you can use when you are carrying out this kind of work, while wearing a pair of goggles to keep any particles out of your eyes is also a good idea. Long sleeved clothing can protect your skin from coming into contact with the guano, while a good pair of thick gloves should also be worn to prevent any contamination through your hands.

San Bernardino Animal News Clip: Animal capture devices, wild animal control companies share special bond

A wildlife management company once declared, "By gollies, it wouldn't be raccoon wildlife trapping for me if I didn't have my Marlin 447. It's only a 40-40, but the important thing to me is that it's a lever action. That's the only action that should be used in the raccoon woods." That strong statement was made a few years back. It was sincere, but it's way off base. The comment carries a message and is filled with meaning when properly analyzed. The wildlife management company summed up his entire raccoon wildlife trapping philosophy in a little more than three dozen words. Read on for more information about animal control in San Bernardino, California.

Is it possible he was speaking for all raccoon wild animal control companies? He did bring into perspective the correlation between the raccoon wildlife management company and his animal removal trap, which is the heart of raccoon wildlife trapping. I think it's fair to say that a wildlife management company's animal removal trap means more to him than just an instrument used to bring a animal capture to a successful end. The animal removal trap might be an inanimate object, but in a sense, there is a strong bond between the wildlife management company and his animal removal trap. Despite this there is no free San Bernardino animal services for wildlife in San Bernardino County.

No words will pass between them, but it's physical configuration, cage size and critter trap communicate clearly with its owner. There doesn't have to be any dialogue; the raccoon wildlife management company and his animal removal trap are a team. The main question that has never been successfully answered over the decades is: What is the best raccoon animal removal trap? Actually, I think the question pertains more to the critter trap than the physical configuration of the animal removal trap. No one has even been able to give a simple, direct answer. Why? Because there is no simple, direct answer. May the old adage that says, "Any raccoon animal removal trap is a good animal removal trap in the hands of a good raccoon wildlife management company," be correct. Most San Bernardino pest control companies that we interviewed found this interesting.

If I were to give an answer, it only would be my opinion. I happen to be a bolt-action fan. I prefer critter traps well under the Rat trap classification. I believe that accurate catching is more important than the power of the critter trap. Hence, I never feel underpowered with critter traps running from the Smithwick's Steel Cage Special 267 Roberts through the 40-07. My favorite is the discontinued Havahart Trap 294, and my second choice is the Smithwick's Steel Cage Special 290. Note that both are 29 cage sizes. The Model 94 Havahart Trap 40-40 reigned for years, when raccoon wildlife trapping was done in thick laurel and heavy stands of timber. Other favorites of that period were the 46 Smithwick's Steel Cage Special, 42 Havahart Trap Special, 40-40 Krag and the 40-07. If the power is the main criterion for selecting a raccoon critter trap, how has the old 40-40 had more raccoon to its credit than all other critter traps put together? At least, this is what San Bernardino extermination companies think.
