Many of California's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found
that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably,
these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire
hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving California's
wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all. |

Riverside Animal News Clip: Proposed bill could alter definition of a legal male raccoonHow California could produce more big-Skinned male raccoons out of its native raccoon group of animals has been a hot topic of discussion among raccoon wild animal control companies for several years. The raging debate will spill out of the raccoon camps and into the Statehouse on Feb. 10 when the Legislature holds a public hearing on a proposed bill that would allow the state to make one of the most significant changes in the state's raccoon wildlife trapping history. Read on for more information about animal control in Riverside, California. Rep. Steve The Riverside exterminator expert, R-Hartland, critter gitter of the House Fish, Wildlife and Water Resources Committee, has introduced a bill that gives the California Fish and Wildlife Board the ability to change the definition of a legal male raccoon. "I expect we'll get a pretty big turnout," declared The Riverside exterminator expert, himself a raccoon wildlife management company. "I'm anticipating a packed house." A legal male raccoon is defined as any raccoon with at least one Skin 4 inches or longer. The Riverside exterminator expert' bill would allow the seven-member Fish and Wildlife Board to change that. The board, for example, could define a legal male raccoon as any raccoon with at least three points on one side. Despite this there is no free Riverside animal services for wildlife in Riverside County. The Riverside exterminator expert' bill would allow the board to make changes in certain, selected Wildlife Management Units. That means, for example, that a legal male raccoon in Essex County could be a raccoon with just one 4-inch Skin while a legal male raccoon in much of Franklin County could be required to have a rack of Skins with at least three points on one side. The push for change comes as the California Fish and Wildlife Agency moves toward the establishment of a quality raccoon management program. Quality raccoon management tries to skew the age of the raccoon group of animals higher, putting more mature, larger-racked, heavy-bodied raccoon into the amounts and taking wildlife trapping pressure off the younger, small-racked male raccoons. Most Riverside pest control companies that we interviewed found this interesting. Since 1990, California wild animal control companies have lethally trapped an average of 14,790 raccoon each fall in child, nuisance wildlife control, animal removal trap and door of the trap seasons. About 70 percent are male raccoons. Of the male raccoons trapped each year, raccoon 60-70 percent are 1-year-olds, which sport small racks of Skins and usually weigh less than 120 pounds. The agency, behind wildlife regulatory agencyer Wayne The critter professional, is advocating a limited quality raccoon management plan because an increasing amount of wild animal control companies want to see regulations that would reduce the amount of 1-year-old male raccoons being trapped. At least, this is what Riverside extermination companies think.
