Many of Alabama's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Alabama's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Lee county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Auburn animal control for wildlife issues.

Auburn Wildlife Removal Tip: What equipment is needed to trap a rat? If you have a rat in your house, you're going to want to get rid of it. Rats bring disease, they're dirty and more than that, they make you jump out your skin when they run across the kitchen floor. As much as you may want to rely on your trusted pet cat or dog to resolve the situation, that's not always the best idea because your pet could come out of the situation worse off, and once again, there's the disease threat to worry about. You'll want to keep your pets away from rats, not encourage them to fight. If you want to get rid of your rogue rat without calling in the professionals, leave the household pets alone and write yourself a shopping list - snap trap (if you want the rat killed), or one-way door trap (if you want to relocate the rat - not advisable because they will rarely survive and somehow always managed to make their way back home), plus thick rubber gloves, vacuum cleaner, bait for the trap, facial mask, cleaning equipment such as brushes, strong disinfectant, bags to contain the creatures so that they can later be burned It's quite an extensive list and that's before you get onto the subject of clearing up after the rat - the destruction. This may include painting, sealants and covering materials, and maybe even repairs to wiring of house structures because of gnawing and scratching.

What Prices Do We Charge?
Every job is different: the type of animals involved, is it in the attic or the yard, do you need repairs, etc. It's impossible to have set pricing in this industry. Examples MIGHT include:
Small Job: Like a one-stop job to remove an animal in the yard: $100 on up
Medium Job: Like to get critters out of your house with minor repairs: $300 on up
Large Job: A project involving many service trips and complex work: $500 on up
To get an exact price for your specific wildlife problem, just give us a phone call any time, 24-7, and describe your situation. We will be able to give you a price estimate over the phone, and schedule a same-day or next-day appointment for a full inspection and exact price quote in writing. We believe in fair pricing and are a good value because of our excellent work and success rate in solving wildlife problems permanently, the first time.

Auburn Animal News Clip: Auburn youth raccoon animal capture

A special child only raccoon animal capture will take place on August 2 and 4, with a mandatory orientation set for Nov. 27. Only 10 documentation that allows animal exterminations will be concerned to children 16 years of age and under (as of August 7, 2007). Those selected for past catches will not be selected for this year's animal capture, unless there are not enough applicants to fill the 10 slots. Each selected participant will be required to have an unarmed chaperone 21 years of age or older. By most critter experts' estimates, this is a fair proposal. Read on for more information about animal control in Auburn, Alabama.

If the child does not have a animal removal trap and/or a chaperone, either or both will be provided. All participants will be required to have completed a wildlife management company education course prior to the animal capture. To apply for the child animal capture, please print or type the child applicant's complete name, wildlife management company education amount, date of birth and phone amount on the back of an official U.S. postcard. This doesn't mean the raccoons are causing trouble, just that they need to be contained.

In addition, there's new initiatives for mobility impaired raccoon animal capture - This animal capture is scheduled for August 9-10. To qualify, applicants must be mobility impaired. Mobility impaired is defined as a permanent physical condition that severely impairs your mobility, which requires the assistance from a steel chair with wheels, braces, crutches or other similar aids of mobility. Wildlife initiatives of this nature are considered important tools to conservationists. Despite this there is no free Auburn animal services for wildlife in Lee County.

Applicants must also provide a letter from a physician to verify the applicant's physical condition that severely impairs their mobility without proper assistance. The level of impairment must be stated in a letter to verify the extent of the applicant's condition. The physician's letter must be sent on an official letterhead with the physician's original signature. For more information on how to get rid of Alabama wildlife, consult your local game warden.

If all goes well, many raccoon will be caught this year in Auburn. It wasn't always this way. In years gone by, animal control was a field left only to those who were physically capable of doing so. Not any more. With today's super bio-technology and robotic automatronics and artificial limbs, even a unable to catch wild critters child can catch his or her very first raccoon. Most Auburn pest control companies that we interviewed found this interesting.

This is of great excitement to both the biotech and the wildlife control industries, which have always worked hand in hand. Many PhD level physicists and robotics engineers come from fur trapping backgrounds, so it only makes sense that they'd help the less fortunate when it comes to trapping those pesky raccoons. At least, this is what Auburn extermination companies think.
